Look forward to a virtual Western Pool and Spa Show event this April and a possible live event this November in Long Beach, California.
According to show organizer Eric Nielson, it would be great to have an opportunity for pool industry people to get back together for a scaled-down live event in November, 2021, but they don’t know if it will be possible.
“The manufacturers want to participate, but we just don’t know what the world is going to look like in November, 2021, and the Long Beach Convention Center is currently closed,” Nielson said.
While the future remains uncertain for the 2021 trade show season, show organizers have managed to secure contracts for the following two years and will be holding the Western Pool and Spa show at the Long Beach Convention Center on March 10-12, 2022, and March 23-25, 2023.
The Western Show held their first virtual event on November 21-22, 2020. The totally free show featured 36 well attended classes taught from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. over the two days. Over 1,000 industry members registered for the virtual show with 80 to 100 people attending most classes, taught by manufacturers and industry experts.
Lucky attendees won valuable prizes including a trip to Long Beach, $500 Visa Gift Cards, and pool and spa equipment such as V.S. Pumps donated by Pool Corp, salt water chlorine generators given by Hayward, automatic pool cleaners from Pentair, and more!
Show organizers are currently finalizing the dates for the upcoming April 2021 virtual event so stay posted.
“The manufacturers were all so happy with the success we had at the last show they are all clambering to put on more,” Nielson said.
