Busy feet and the show was abuzz….the excitement for the International Pool Spa and Patio Show 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada, was felt by attendees during this busy pool show season.
The show was well attended and busy with visitors from many different countries. Foot traffic was constant and steady.
Chris Galvan, CEO and founder of Blueray XL, LLC, stated, “The show is great! We have already had about 80 people come over since the show opened. I have met a lot of people from across the country from Florida and California, and even from Canada, Mexico, and Colombia.”
Viking Capital also agreed that this show was busy and steady with attendees. Kelley Cuskaden, Viking Capital’s Marketing Manager, said, “So far it has been a great show. This show is always busy. Foot traffic has been steady. This is one of the best shows with the amount of traffic that we get.”
The manufacturers exhibiting overwhelmingly agreed that this is one of the best-attended pool trade shows in the United States.
Representatives from Skimmer said that they brought more employees to this show than any other in the past in anticipation of larger attendance. Niki Acosta, the director of marketing at Skimmer, said, “The show is absolutely bonkers! We have had a ton of interested parties coming by the booth. A lot of people that were not using software to manage their pool and spa service business are now going to choose to use our software for saving money and just being more efficient.”
Exhibitors offered a wide range of products.
Monica Speak exhibited a device called the Skimmie, a pole with a smaller net to clean out skimmer baskets.
Skimmer showed off their pool service route management software, which helps pool service pros manage their routes, time, and money.
Camereye exhibited a device that uses AI technology to prevent drowning.
Blue Ray XL showed a catalytic mineral purifier that uses silver, zinc, and copper to treat pool water.
The educational opportunities were plentiful.

Students could take such courses as workplace health and safety, pool electrical, and essential plaster training.
Pool Nation brought their “A” game with hands-on training. Their Pool Nation Bootcamp featured many companies conducting hands-on equipment training. Attendees were excited about the training.
Networking is a huge component of the show. Attendees look to networking for answers to their questions about specific problems or products. Exhibitors also see the positive effects of networking at an event where most major exhibitors are in one place at the same time.
Sai Reddy of Camereye sees the value of shows like this for collaboration with other companies to continue growth within our industry.
“I like to go visit the other manufacturers and dealers that are exhibiting to see if we can collaborate,” he said. “The networking at shows like this is as important as us exhibiting our products.”
Skimmie’s Monica Speak summed up the International Show experience: “I think everybody should come to the show if you have a product to exhibit or you are trying to look for new products. This is the place to find innovation and network!”
